Values and Philosophy
Therapeutic Technique and Methodology
Depending on the client’s presenting issues, specific goals to achieve, and the readiness for changes, I apply the combination of different therapeutic approaches, including modern psychodynamic,object-relations, cognitive-behavioral, existencial, and brief solution-focused therapy. I also specialize in Cancer Counseling to help patints and family members adjust to the difficult diagnosis. I am trained in EMDR which is proved to be effective to treat PTSD. I am also experienced in facilitating groups (using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy ) that teach behavioral skills to modify negative thinking patterns, control impulsive behaviors, and improve interpersonal relationships. The more important factor than the specific therapeutic techniques is, however, for me to be able to offer you the safe space for healing and growth to take place through the ‘here-and-now’ collaborative relationship.
